    Ashen + Eating Animation - Add-On

Desaturated wood and stone textures paired with custom eating and drinking animations for a cold, atmospheric aesthetic.

    Overview

Eating Animation (Ashen Edition) is a re-texture pack that swaps out Minecraft's standard bright colors for a colder, more desaturated look. It focuses on muted tones and darker materials to give your world a moody, somber atmosphere while adding frame-by-frame animations for food and drinks.

    Features

    • Desaturated Palette: Removes the neon greens and bright yellows in favor of earthy, greyish tones.
    • Darker Building Blocks: Stone has a cool, charcoal tint and wood types look weathered and aged.
    • Animated Consumables: Custom textures for every food item and potion that show actual eating and drinking movements in your hand.
    • Clean Dark UI: Replaces the white and light grey menus with a dark interface that matches the pack's aesthetic.
    • Preserved Silhouettes: Keeps the 16x pixel style so you can still recognize blocks and items instantly.

    Technical Details

    Resolution

This is a standard 16x pack. It doesn't use high-resolution textures or heavy shaders, so it has zero impact on your FPS. It will run the same as default Minecraft.

    Requirements

To see the food items move while you eat, you must have the Eating Animation mod installed. Without the mod, the food will have the new desaturated colors but will remain static.

    Compatibility

Designed for 1.20 and newer. It works fine on versions back to 1.16, though you might see a "made for an older/newer version" warning in the menu. Most blocks will still load correctly on older versions, minus a few newer items.
