    Bare Bones

Simplifies textures into vibrant, flat colors to match the art style of official Minecraft trailers.

    Overview

Bare Bones is a resource pack designed to make your game look exactly like the official Minecraft trailers. It strips away the extra noise and grain from default textures, replacing them with flat colors and a vibrant palette.

    Features

    • Flat, simplistic textures for all blocks and items.
    • Vibrant color palette modeled after Mojang's promotional art.
    • Cleaner UI and menus that match the trailer aesthetic.
    • Simplified mob textures with solid colors and bold patterns.
    • Consistent look across all biomes and dimensions.

    Resolution & Performance

The pack is 16x16, which is the same as vanilla Minecraft. Because the textures use fewer details and flat colors, it’s very lightweight. You shouldn't see any performance drop; if anything, it might feel slightly smoother on older hardware.

    Compatibility

Bare Bones works on most modern versions of Minecraft. It is a standard resource pack and does not require OptiFine to work, though using shaders alongside it helps nail that specific trailer look.

    Recommended Settings

For the best experience, try turning off "Smooth Lighting" or using internal shaders to get those crisp, sharp shadows seen in the videos.

    Usage and Addons

Feel free to make your own edits for personal use, but please don't reupload the pack. If you're making an addon, only include the new textures you've created and don't bundle the original Bare Bones files with it. If you find any missing textures or bugs, reach out on Discord.
