    Overview

Xray (Spectator) is a simple utility pack designed to clear out visual clutter. It turns common terrain blocks like stone, dirt, and gravel completely transparent so you can easily spot ores, structures, and mobs through the ground.

    Features

    • Makes stone, deepslate, dirt, grass, and netherrack invisible.
    • Keeps all ore types (diamond, gold, iron, nether quartz, etc.) fully opaque.
    • Keeps chests, spawners, and entities visible from a distance.
    • Makes lava and water semi-transparent for better navigation in caves.
    • Highlights strongholds and mineshafts by making the surrounding filler blocks disappear.

    Resolution and Performance

This pack uses standard 16x16 textures. Since it removes the majority of block faces from the rendering pipeline, you might actually see a slight increase in FPS in heavy cave environments. It is extremely lightweight and won't bog down your game.

    Compatibility

Works with most modern versions of Minecraft. Since it is a standard resource pack, it does not require Optifine, though using it with "Internal" shaders or turning off "Smooth Lighting" is recommended to prevent the screen from looking too dark while underground.

    Usage Note

This is meant for single-player scouting or server environments where utility packs are permitted. Check your server rules before using this in a multiplayer setting.
