Overview
Low On Fire is a simple resource pack designed to fix the annoying fire overlay that covers your screen when you take fire damage. It keeps the fire visual low on your HUD so you can actually see what you're doing during combat or exploration.
Features
- Reduced Overlay: The fire animation on your screen is significantly lowered, taking up only the bottom portion of the display.
- Vanilla Ground Fire: Fire blocks placed on the ground stay at their default height. This isn't a "low fire" block pack; it only changes the UI effect.
- No OptiFine Required: Works completely fine on the vanilla client without any extra mods or shaders needed.
- PvP Friendly: Better visibility during fights in the Nether or against players with Fire Aspect.
Resolution & Performance
This pack uses the standard 16x resolution. Because it reduces the size of a rendered overlay, it has zero negative impact on performance and may feel smoother during gameplay since your vision isn't obscured by particles.
Compatibility
Supports basically every version from 1.8.x all the way up to the latest 1.21 releases. If Minecraft says the pack is "incompatible" because of the version format, it will still work fine—just ignore the warning and load it up.
