    Overview

PvP Essentials is a utility-focused resource pack designed to clean up your screen during combat. It removes annoying visual distractions like fire animations and pumpkin blurs while keeping the game looking mostly vanilla.

This pack works best as an overlay. You can place it at the top of your resource pack list to keep your favorite textures while gaining the competitive advantages of this pack.

    Features

    • Reduced Clutter: Completely removes fire overlays, fire smoke, and explosion particles to keep your vision clear.
    • Better Visibility: Removes the pumpkin blur, vignette, and nausea effects. Water visibility is also significantly improved.
    • Low-Profile Models: Shields are smaller and sit lower on the screen. Totems and totem pop animations are scaled down so they don't block your crosshair.
    • Combat Indicators: Includes colored charging animations for both bows and crossbows so you know exactly when your shot is ready.
    • Outlined Ores: All ores have distinct borders to make them easier to spot while mining quickly.
    • Audio Tweaks: Lowers the volume of weather, fire ticks, and explosions to help you hear footsteps and nearby players.
    • No Bobber: Removes the fishing rod bobber model to streamline the fishing/hooking visual.

    Resolution & Performance

This is a 16x resolution pack. Since it focuses on removing particles and simplifying models, you should see a slight boost in FPS during heavy combat or in areas with lots of fire and explosions compared to the default textures.

    Compatibility

Designed for Minecraft 1.21 and newer. It does not require Optifine or any specific mods to function, as it uses standard JSON model overrides and basic texture changes. If you use it as an overlay, make sure it stays at the very top of your active resource packs list.
