    Overview

    Subtly Glowing Ores makes it easier to spot resources while exploring deep caves or dark ravines. It adds a slight emissive glow to the ore bits inside stone, deepslate, and nether rack blocks without making them look like bright neon signs.

    Features

    • Adds emissive textures to all standard ores (Coal, Iron, Copper, Gold, Redstone, Lapis, Diamond, and Emerald).
    • Supports both Stone and Deepslate variants.
    • Gives a subtle glow to Nether Quartz and Nether Gold ore.
    • Raw ore blocks and refined mineral blocks (like Diamond or Emerald blocks) also have a soft glow.
    • Makes mining more efficient by highlighting ores that are usually hidden in pitch-black corners.

    Important Note

    This pack requires OptiFine or the Continuity mod to enable the emissive texture features. Without one of these, the ores will look normal and won't glow in the dark.

    Resolution & Performance

    The textures are 16x16, matching the default Minecraft look. Since it uses the standard resolution, you shouldn't see any drop in frame rates or performance compared to the vanilla game.

    Compatibility

    This pack works on all versions from 1.17 up to the most recent releases. It is compatible with other resource packs as long as you place it at the top of your list, though it may not work with packs that completely change the ore models or shapes.
