    Overview

    Vocal Villagers makes villages feel more alive by adding dozens of new voice lines for villagers. Rather than replacing the classic "hrrmm" sounds, this pack expands the audio pool so you hear more variety while they work, trade, and interact.

    Features

    This resource pack adds 43 new vanilla-style vocalizations that play alongside the default sounds:

    • 22 idle sounds for daily activities and wandering around.
    • 3 unique sounds that play specifically when you are browsing their trade menus.
    • 10 celebration sounds for when you successfully complete a trade.
    • 7 victory sounds for villagers to use when a raid is defeated.

    All sounds are designed to match the original Minecraft aesthetic, so they don't feel out of place or "modded."

    Resolution and Performance

    Since this is an audio-only resource pack, it has zero impact on your FPS or graphical performance. The sound files are compressed to keeps the file size small and lightweight.

    Compatibility

    This pack should work on any modern version of Minecraft (1.14 and up) since it targets the villager sound events. It does not require Optifine or any specific mod loaders to function—just drop it into your resource packs folder and move it to the top of the list.
