Overview
Weskerson's 3D Items gives standard Minecraft items a more detailed, three-dimensional look without breaking the vanilla aesthetic. Instead of flat 2D sprites, many of your tools, weapons, and food items will now have depth and custom geometry when held or dropped on the ground.
Features
- 3D models for all tool sets (Wood, Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, and Netherite).
- Modeled weapons including swords, bows, and crossbows.
- Thickened models for food items like apples, bread, and cooked meats.
- Custom geometry for miscellaneous items like torches, buckets, and flint and steel.
- Works seamlessly with vanilla textures, so it stays true to the default game look.
Detailed Visuals
Each model has been designed to look like an extension of the original 16x16 sprites. You’ll notice the extra detail most when seeing items in your hand from a third-person view or when they are sitting in item frames.
Resolution and Performance
The pack is based on the 16x16 vanilla resolution. Since these are simple low-poly models, you shouldn't see any noticeable drop in FPS. It is very lightweight and runs fine on low-end hardware.
Compatibility
- Compatible with Minecraft 1.14 through the latest version.
- Does not require Optifine or any specific mods to work.
- Can be used alongside most 16x16 block texture packs (just place this one at the top of your resource pack list).
