    Overview

Alacrity is a 32x resource pack designed for players who want a medieval RPG look without losing the feel of vanilla Minecraft. It focuses heavily on 3D geometry and realistic material depth to make the world feel more solid and lived-in.

    Features

    • 3D Block Models: Many blocks like bookshelves, crafting tables, and furnaces have custom 3D geometry rather than flat surfaces.
    • Better Vegetation: Foliage, grass, and trees have been completely reworked for a denser, more natural appearance.
    • RPG Aesthetic: Visuals are inspired by classic fantasy games, giving the game a darker, grittier atmosphere.
    • Variant Textures: Includes a wide variety of alternate block textures to prevent repeating patterns on large walls or floors.
    • Entity Models: Custom models for many mobs (CEM) to give them more personality and detail.
    • Connected Textures: Support for CTM features to make glass, stone, and paths blend together smoothly.

    Resolution and Performance

The pack is rendered at a 32x32 resolution. While it is higher than the default 16x, it is optimized to run well on most mid-range PCs. Note that the heavy use of 3D models may have a small impact on frame rates in areas with lots of complex blocks.

    Compatibility

Alacrity is designed for modern versions of Minecraft. For the best experience, including 3D models, connected textures, and custom mob skins, it is highly recommended to use OptiFine or the continuity/entity model mods on Iris/Canvas.

    Usage Notes
