    Overview

Even Better Enchants gives every enchanted book in the game its own unique look. Tired of hovering over a chest full of identical purple books to find the one you need? This pack adds custom colors, icons, and designs to the book covers so you can identify enchantments at a glance while keeping a vanilla-friendly style.

    Features

    • Unique textures for every single enchantment, including newer ones like Swift Sneak and Wind Burst.
    • Visual indicators for enchantment levels (I, II, III, IV, V) so you can tell them apart without reading the tooltip.
    • Color-coded themes: blue for water-related enchants, red for combat/damage, green for tools, etc.
    • Consistent art style that blends right in with default Minecraft textures.
    • A continuation and expansion of the original "Better Enchant Books" pack by Yomna.

    Resolution & Performance

This is a standard 16x16 resolution pack. Since it only swaps out item textures, you won’t see any drop in FPS. It’s light, fast, and works on any machine that can run the base game.

    Compatibility

    Supported Versions

    The pack is updated for 1.17, 1.18, 1.19, 1.20, and 1.21.x.

    Requirements

    • Minecraft 1.21.5 and newer: Works out of the box. No extra mods needed.
    • Minecraft 1.21.4 and older: You will need CITResewn, Optifine, or the EnchantedBookEnabler datapack to see the custom textures.
