    Round Trees

Replaces blocky log and wood models with multi-sided cylinders for a smoother, organic arboreal appearance.

    Overview

Round Trees changes the default blocky logs into 16-sided cylinders for a more natural look. It replaces the models for all vanilla log types and wood blocks, making forests and builds feel a bit more organic without losing the Minecraft aesthetic.

    Features

    • Smooth, multi-sided models for all log types (Oak, Birch, Spruce, Dark Oak, Acacia, Jungle, Mangrove, Cherry, and Pale Oak).
    • Works with both natural logs and stripped wood variants.
    • Compatible with wood-based items like pillars or stems.
    • Automatically uses your existing textures, so it works perfectly with other resource packs. Just keep this pack at the top of your list.

    Compatibility

The pack is designed for modern versions of Minecraft but should work on older versions that support custom block models. Because it uses the default texture paths, it will adopt the look of whatever texture pack you are currently using.

    Supported Mods

I've added built-in support for the logs in several popular mods, including:

    • Biomes O' Plenty
    • Regions Unexplored
    • The Aether
    • Quark
    • Better Nether & Better End
    • Nature's Spirit
    • Tech Reborn
    • Ad Astra

    Performance & Resolution

This pack changes models, not textures, so the resolution depends on what you already have installed (16x by default). Performance impact is minimal, though you might see a slight change in frame rates in very dense forests on lower-end hardware due to the increased polygon count per tree.
